Wink earned his B. A. from Middlebury College in 1980 and his MBA from Columbia University in 1989. After working as a securities and investments analyst for Fidelity, he left to start his own consulting firm, and began working for Ambrosi Donahue as a financial analyst.

Ambrosi Donahue Congdon’s subsequent decision to provide reconciliation and payroll services to their clients was a perfect fit for Wink, who assumed sole responsibility for the division.
