Keith Congdon, CPA
Keith brings over thirty years of experience in both private industry and public accounting to the ADC team. His client work centers on closely held businesses and their shareholders, primarily in manufacturing, technology, and service industries, the industries that built the North Shore and continue to anchor it.
Keith began his career at Coopers and Lybrand, now Pricewaterhouse Coopers, as an auditor of publicly traded companies. He later joined The Stackpole Corporation in Boston as a corporate officer, where he was actively involved in the initial public offering of Stackpole Limited on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the divestiture of several US subsidiaries. That mix of private industry depth and public accounting discipline is something most CPAs never get to assemble in a single career.
Keith also served as a Director of Georgetown Bank and Chairman of the Board’s Audit Committee until the bank was sold to Salem Five Bank in 2017. That governance experience gives him a perspective on financial reporting that goes beyond the technical, into how owners, lenders, and boards actually use the numbers.
